I'm a fourth-year PhD candidate in Social Welfare at UCLA, where I study youth civic engagement with Professor Laura Wray-Lake. The majority of my research focuses on social media and social movements as contexts for youth sociopolitical development. I have received funding from UCLA's Graduate Research Mentorship Award, the Frank D. Gilliam, Jr. Social Justice Award, the Bedari Kindness Institute Summer Graduate Fellowship, and the Initiative to Study Hate.

Previously I worked with international nonprofits to evaluate and strengthen their programs. In 2018 I conducted research with 3,200+ leading social entrepreneurs and young changemakers around the world with Ashoka's Impact Team. I have facilitated or evaluated youth empowerment projects through Americorps Public Allies (US), the Resilience Advocacy Project (US), Mathematica Policy Research (Global), Ashoka (India), and Make a Difference (India).

When I’m not doing literature reviews or reading up on statistics, you can probably find me exploring parks or working on a photography project!
